Sunday Run

I went for a 10 mile run after our oldest son's last soccer game.

We left Boston early, so we could be home for his game. It was great weather for a run, low 60's slight breeze and sunny.

I ran to Veteran's Park, and did the Hangover 5 mile loop. There were a bunch of soccer games going on, dog park was packed, as was the children's playground. Seemed everyone was out enjoying the beautiful fall day.

On my home from the park, I passed Shoreturtle. I knew exactly where he was headed.

My run, I decided to try and do the 10 miles at 8:30 mile pace. I felt really good, even after the drive home from Boston, and getting little sleep, as I was upbefore 7:00am, after staying up to 2:00am, watching the Phillies game.
I have 6miles scheduled today (Tuesday), but this weather outside is nasty (wind chill's in the high 20's, wind gusts up to 25mph & it's a snowy/rainy mess!).

Here are the 10.17 mile stats:

Mile / Time
1 8:22
2 8:22
3 8:34
4 8:27
5 8:03
6 7:59
7 8:27
8 8:22
9 8:31
10 8:34
.17 1:23

Nice run. very good pacing also. I have a lot of trouble with keeping an even pace.

Nice pace!

Today's miserable. I just want to curl up under a blanket & stay there.

Thanks for the sports fix man! You totally killed that 8:30 pace.

And what in the world is Bid Selig smoking??? I really hope the Phillies finish off the Rays whenever they finish the game, or it will be very stressful indeed!

It was funny to look up and see you running across the street.

It's even funnier that I have that same turtle sign in our backyard.

Nice 10 miler. Too bad an early winter messed up the 6 but you've still got time to keep things going strong before Philly.
