I'm still standing ... and running!

It's been crazy busy round these parts lately, and I haven't had the chance to sit down and write about my runs.
Trust me, I have been running.... long, short & trails.

I'll try and sit down tonite, and catch everyone up on my adventures.

It is good to know that you are still there. Most important, take your time. There is no deadline to post a new blog. Your life, your family and everything else comes first then blog.

I was googling posterior tibial tendinitis and came across your blog. My injury happened May 3rd during my first marathon, like you. I saw an orthopedic doctor a few weeks later after continuing to run a bit with a swollen ankle. It didn't hurt when I ran though. So he diagnosed me with this, and told me to not run for a few weeks and wrote me a prescription for orthotics. I took off completely for the past 2 weeks, and walked/ran yesterday and the day before without any pain. I might not run for another week just to be safe. It is definitely getting better and just feels sort of tight. I want to get a second opinion, and since you went through the same thing and seem to be doing great now, I was wondering what helped you and how long you took off/how you got back into running. This has been so tough and I've been so down because of it, but reading about your situation has given me a reason to believe I will be back to running like I was soon! Thanks!
