I was surprised that I wasn't as sore as I usually am after a hard race. I did a nice out and back 6 mile run.
I didn't see any runners out, when I ran, but sure seemed like everyone was mowing their lawns.
A week from this Saturday, I have my 1st 5k race on the schedule, and hopefully I can hit the track once before the race.
I ran a nice pace, probably a little quicker than I should have, but I felt good.
6 miles 49:19 (8:12 avg.)
- 8:17
- 8:12
- 8:10
- 8:15
- 8:17
- 8:03

Nice run, and you sure are up early and blogging! Thanks for your comment, and have a great 5k race. Mine will be the first, thought I'm such a newbie that a comment like that is pretty unnecessary. If all goes well I am hoping to go as far under 22:00 as my legs and lungs will allow. What is your goal, if you have a time in mind?
I've already committed to a 5K next weekend, but it doesn't start until 11a in Sea Isle. Cape May Footrace is at 8a, so hmmmm....
8:12?!
[sound of GQH smacking forehead in despair]
*laughing at Glaven's comment*
I know - I mowed the yard yesterday. Your pace looks GREAT. Its the stamina you have right now.
Just looking at your last post, I think I like the HM medal more than the Full medal.
I'm curious, are you tempted at all to sign up for the NJM for 2010, considering the $65 price tag good till 5/17?
Hey, I'm going to be in NJ June 13th...would you and the NJ crew be interested in meeting up for a long run Sat morning?? It'd be my first blogger meet up!
Eh congrats on your half-mary PB!! Glad to see you're not too sore and able to get a speedy recovery run in!
Great run and consistent pace!!!
AWESOME!!!
