Well, I went out and got a new pair of running shoes today! I've been looking forward to this day for the last few weeks. I could tell I was in desperate need of new shoes.I replaced my Asics Gel Kayano 14's, with the new 15's!
I went with the all black model... it's exclusive to Foot Locker. I did my homework on them, and they are identical to the white models. I wanted to make sure of that, since I don't normally buy my shoes at a Foot Locker.
I had a lot on my plate today, so like any kid with a new toy, you just can't wait to get home and play with it. I got out and ran a quick 2.3 miles.
Man it was a sweet run!
Nothing beats the 1st few runs in new shoes. You can feel in the heel, the more gel they added.
Now I am dying to break them in a bit, and run the Ocean Drive 10 miler in them.
If you need a stability shoe, I love the Kayano's. They are the only shoe I have run in, in the last 5 yrs.

Those shoes are hardcore. For some reason I didn't read the name in my reader and most of my reader suggestions are girls. and I was like DANG those are HARDCORE for a girl. Then I realized it was you. Ha ha, then they are okay! :)
Speedy run in the new shoes. I have been a big fan of the 2200 series.
I like them in black. I had a pair of black asics basketball shoes that I loved.
nice shoes...didn't even know they made the kayanos in black...i think my next pair (which will be awhile) will be kayanos...i've heard nothing but good stuff about them...
Its a rarity to see a runner in deep black running shoes. Those kicks ARE A KILLER !!! Ohhhh, its Friday the 13th. How fitting !!! You sure do resemble Jason with that kick today! (Don't forget to don your hockey mask.)
Nice! I've run in Asics for years, but recently have had issues getting them in my size (I refuse to drop a non-refundable deposit on a shoe I may try on and not end up buying).
I love the first run in new shoes!

I tried on the 15's the other day.
How do they feel? Are they stiff?
I don't like the colors of the normal 15's, Black - now those are sweet..
I desperately need a new pair of shoes before my half in 2 weeks. It's either the 15's or another pair of the Gel Nimbus 10's.
