I picked a new course, some different roads I don't normally run on, just to mix things up a bit.
I also enjoyed running that late at nite. I haven't run that late since last summer, and it felt good.

Thursday, the weather had changed dramatically, going from highs in the 90's, on Tuesday, to temps in the high 50's, with a steady wind. It was a decent run, but the good ole Garmin lied on the 1st mile again. When I looked at my watch, it was at least about 3/10 of a mile off. I had an idea where the 1st mile should be, and as I passed it, I waited for the beep, and it never came. I took it easy, since I do have the 1/2 marathon on Sunday. I am looking forward to going to the expo Friday, to get my packet, and see what deals they have.

Hey Bill! This weather has really thrown some of us for a loop, eh? Weird! Let's just hope it stays nice and cool (and dry, AND not too windy) for Sunday. O & A? Are those guys still on the air somewhere??
We are heading up to the shore for the weekend starting tomorrow night... staying at a B&B in Ocean Grove. Planning on spending the whole day in the Long Branch area on Saturday hanging out at the expo and seeing what they have going on for the kids. We will probably need the extra time to figure out how parking will work on race day, plus where my parents and son are going to set-up as our cheering section. Good luck if I don't "talk" to you again!
Good luck & have fun!!!
See you this weekend, I hope :)
see you on Sunday dude - looks like rain - anxious to see you light up that HM with a new PR.
Good luck this weekend!! Too bad the weather isn't looking good for us. Hopefully the forecast clears up.
Your blog was not allowing me to paot coments earlier today!
But I guess it's fixed, now.
I'm still catching up, but that is some nice pre-race work! That course is very PR friendly. I shaved 5 minutes off my time there!
