On Tuesday, I got out and ran 4 miles after work in the snow. It had been snowing here all day. Nothing was sticking to the roads, since we just had a few days of temps in the 50's deg F.
I ran out and back to the beginning of Mercer County Park. The bike/walking path was covered in a few inches of snow.
It was cool to run in the snow. It reminded me of my old winter track days.
Funny, after getting about 4" of snow, and now a couple of days of frigid temps, they are calling for highs in the 50's this weekend! Ahh good ole NJ winters.

Nicely done. We got about 4" on the powdery, cling-to-the-branches kind of snow too. It look fabulous, but I hate it.
Yeah, no snow running for me thanks. I did my 7 miles this morning on the treadmill - I am not taking any unnecessary chances.
Looking ahead at my schedule I have at least 4 cut back Sundays which will be @12 milers. We should hook up for one (unless you have some weird desire to do something in the 18-20 range). I would love to come out your way for 12 miles of different scenery.
Nice going, and nice pics too! Do you stop to take these when you are running, or just snap them while moving?
I'm loving your photos, good on you for getting out there in the weather. One more reason (between you and Shoreturtle) for me to get out there today. Thanks for the motivation.
I simply love your pictures and if you post pictures all the time I will continue to creep on your site. You are so hardcore to keep getting out there in that chilly weather! :)
Great snow pics. They are calling for 40's the next two day s here also. I'll believe it when I see it.
50's this weekend? Time for shorts!!
The snow killed us trying to get home from New Orleans. But it was BEAUTIFUL driving home from the airport. I wish we weren't traveling so I could have enjoyed it more.
Great 4 miler in the snow!!
i like running in the snow!! It's sort of peaceful and pretty!!!
SOON!!!
Thanks for your nice comment!!
I heard about the warmer temps this weekend too - hopefully that means a little less ice on the trails Saturday morning!!
great job on the run...running in the snow can be fun as long as it's not too windy or icy...
Those pictures are beautiful!
That's a lot nicer than what fell here in the city!
